This is the lovely Tamara, mama to two little guys Finn(5) and Charlie(2.5) and wife to Kevin. All the instructors love to see Tamara walking into class because we know there won’t be a shortage of laughs and good times with her doing burpees next to you. She’s an incredible mama and she keeps it REAL, which is the most refreshing thing about her. We just love her! Tamara is in week 7 of Body Back Transformation and shes going to be taking over our IG stories later this week, so stay tuned for that, But, until then read on to get to know her a little better
❤️What do you do for work now or before kiddos? I was a legislative aide in the Minnesota Senate for a few years before having kids, and now I am a full time stay at home mama and aspiring freelance writer. ❤️Whats your mama struggle right now? Well, we’re in the middle of a move, so my current struggle is trying not to lose my mind while unpacking with two crazy kids underfoot. Generally, my main mama struggle is managing my expectations for what my kids are truly capable of - I am guilty of forgetting that their frustrating behavior is totally age appropriate and even healthy. Also, apparently, swearing - on the way home from dinner tonight both of my kids told me that I need to stop saying bad words. ❤️Tell us how you balance all the things... LOL. It’s honestly a struggle for me at this stage of my life. I’m working on letting go of some things (the need to keep a perfectly clean house at all times, time spent on my phone, time spent worrying and criticizing, for example), and making room in my life for other things (time to write, date nights, time in nature, one on one time with each of my kids, books, running, podcasts, etc.). ❤️What is your favorite part about being a mom?
To love and be loved so completely and purely is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever experienced. And now I’m crying.
